We don’t like hostels! There we said it….

but we did enjoy backpacking and we wanted to go travelling on a budget but without the gap year student experience. In the words of Danny Glover we were “too old for that sh*t”.

…so we decided to set ourselves a challenge.

We would only stay in hotels or rented apartments. Ideally these would have air conditioning, wifi and televisions. And importantly cost no more than £30 a night.
